Medical researchers reported about an unusual migraine cure

A new study by specialists from Washington State University, USA, has demonstrated some interesting relationships in the effects of cannabis on migraines and headaches.

In particular, looking ahead, it may be said that inhalation of cannabis does indeed help to deal effectively with increasing migraine crises and headaches in general, not only in the short term but in the long term as well.

The study itself was more focused on the so-called Strainprint application which collected information from users who systematically used marijuana for medical purposes – around 20,000 reports were conducted during the whole experiment, and up to 1,300 people participated in the last stage.

Inhalation of cannabis smoke did indeed appear to reduce headache and migraine levels by an average of 47%, and this number is dynamic, and it reaches a peak of 49%. Both men and women were involved in the study, with small differences in age and quite different migraine symptoms and features.

The medical researchers also noticed one very interesting feature which is that slightly more positive effect was experienced by men, growing up to 90% of positive outcome, while in women the figure was 89%, which is also good, and this may indicate an increasing effect of tolerance for the effects of cannabis and systematic migraine as a medical condition.

It should be noted that the cannabis use indicated in the experiment is fully controlled and regulated by medical considerations and prescription, and therefore the study deals exclusively with the medical-dose effects of the substance.
