The journalist from the CIS who has defeated oncology urged to legalize marijuana

Famous Ukrainian journalist Yanina Sokolova, who managed to defeat the oncological disease, called for legalizing medical marijuana in the country.

The journalist also added that medical marijuana “has nothing to do with the negative publicity”. Drugs of this type can anaesthetize patients with cancer, autists, seriously injured military people (for example, after amputations). “There is no access to medical cannabis in Ukraine. You have before you a woman who had to go through cancer this year. I passed through four chemotherapies, so I know what I’m saying and what kind of pain it is”, – said Sokolova.

According to the journalist, thanks to anesthesia, there is an opportunity to ease the lives of patients, while, according to Sokolova, it is also very cheap. At the same time, Sokolova pointed to the huge corruption in this area, which is profited, including by managers of large enterprises producing medicines.
